Sex and The City Movie Sequel?

November 9, 2008 by Luba · Leave a Comment

A couple of days ago Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha Jones, confirmed that there will be a much-wanted sequel to the Sex and The City: The Movie. “Yes, there will be a sequel. We will do the sequel next summer,” Cattrall says. “We wanted to the first time, and now we’re hopefully doing it again for the second time.” The movie took many years to film as as there were many rumoured infighting between the four ladies, Kim Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. It seems that these quarrels are not over yet, as just one day later, Sarah Jessica Parker denied the confirmed sequel plans. “I’m thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done,” says the star that plays Carrie Bradshaw. In September, both Parker and director/writer Michael Patrick King talked about the possible sequel saying even that it is on its way to be written. So, will there be a sequel after all? We hope that soon the diva cast will finally make up their minds.

Manolo Blahnik’s New Obsession: Flats

Well, we already know he makes great heels. And we know that platforms are the ugliest shoes he has ever seen in his life. So, about flats? Apparently, Carrie Bradshaw’s favorite designer loves flats. “It’s much more difficult to be beautiful and walk femininely in flats. Bardot in France did it and Audrey Hepburn in America. They looked fantastic and walked like tigers, beautiful and graceful, but you can walk like a beach bum in them – then they don’t look so good.” The secret to impressing the great show designer with your shoes is not their style and pricetag but rather your attitude. “I love any kind of shoe as long as the right person is wearing them,” says the talented Manolo. Except platforms of course.

“Sex and The City” Author Plans Teen Books About Carrie Bradshaw

“Sex and the City” author Candace Bushnell is writing two more books following Carrie Bradshaw’s character when Carrie was in high school.

The pair of teen novels “The Carrie Diaries” will “take readers back to Carrie Bradshaw’s formative years in high school, giving an inside look at Carrie’s friendships, romances and how she realized her dream of becoming a writer.”

According to Bushnell, “”I’ve always been interested in exploring Carrie’s teenage years. Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd _ she led it. It was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.”

The novel, part of a two-book deal, is set to be released in the Fall of 2010.
