True to Chanel, the bags offer exquisite details such as invisible zip fastenings, leather reinforcements, and fashionable practicality such as inside pockets, and snap hooks.

Paris Spring 2009: Chanel

One of the most anticipated fashion shows is with no doubt Chanel. For Spring 2009, Karl Lagerfeld impressed everyone with his runway decor, as he decided to bring Chanel’s home 31 Rue Cambon as he stage a life-size facade of the building into the Grand Palais. The charming theme was inspired by a grayish portrait by Marie Laurencin who painted Mademoiselle Coco Chanel in the twenties. The classic tweeds, bows, and camellias were back with a touch of pink sheerness, romantic ruffles, sparkly embroidery, bold accessories and the delicious French chic magic. My favorite? I love the combination of pink, sheer, and tweed!

Latest Chanel Perfume Launches in Chanel’s Apartment

September 30, 2008 by Luba · Leave a Comment

The apartment of Mademoiselle Chanel has long been an inspiration for the brand’s collection and even perfume lines. So, it would make perfect sense to have the VIP launch of the new perfume “No. 5 Eau première” in her Parisian apartment on 31 rue Cambon. The apartment was transformed into a dream Chanel set by French interior designer Jean-Marc Gady. For the luxury perfume’s launch, Gady decorated the entire space. The doorways were designed in the shape of the perfume’s bottle and dramatic lighting showed the way into the different testing rooms with illuminated test sprays. There were photos of the Chanel spokesfaces from past to present like beauties Marilyn Monroe and Nicole Kidman as well as iconographic Chanel photography. In addition, at all times there was a fountain that sprayed drops of the new fragrance into the air.
