Mango Spring/Summer 2009: Barcelona

The Spanish brand Mango presented its Spring/Summer 2009 Collection in Barcelona named “An Enchanted Garden.” The collection was inspired by “nature and modern landscape” as well as influenced by a strong Japanese touch on the shapes and prints of the garments. Brazilian model Camila Alves came down the runway, and it was her first appearance after the birth of her cute son from boyfriend Matthew McConaughey. The Enchanted Garden featured bright colors and prints, silk and chiffon softness, large flower accessories and exotic oriental flare. Watch out for these pieces to come out in stores next year and prepare for a bright, hot summer!

Rosa Cha at Claro Rio Summer 2008 Fashion Event

Brazil is not just one of the hottest travel destinations, but it is known for its hot fashion as well. For Claro Rio Summer 2008 fashion event, Amir Slama certainly spiced up the runway with his newest Rosa Cha collection in Forte de Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The collection features flowy beach cover ups, bandeau tops and a rich tempting color palette of pink, deep blue and exotic prints as well as shimmering silver. Brad Pitt has partnered up with Kiehl in hopes to raise money through the sale of the new Aloe Vera Liquid Cleanser to support the environment. 100% of the proceeds will go towards JPF Eco Systems, which is the actor’s own charity supporting global environmental initiatives such as the build of environmentally sustainable housing for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Sean Connery for the New Louis Vuitton Ad

Sir Sean Connery is featured in Louis Vuitton’s “core values” campaign underlining its travel roots. The original James Bond is photographed by Annie Leibovitz on the beach near his home in the Bahamas with the waterproof version of the Louis Vuitton’s Keepall bag. “He’s sexier than ever,” said Vuitton’s director of communications, Antoine Arnault. “We had the opportunity to work with a legend… He’s been on our list for a very long time.” The photo is really beautiful both because of the sunny, exotic beach and because of Connery’s elegance and charm. The tagline of the photo says, “There are journeys that turn into legends. Bahamas Islands. 10:07.” Zooming in closer, we can see that it is 10:07 on the actor’s watch as well.
