Victoria’s Secret “Holiday Edition” Lingerie

The holidays are coming and lingerie’s hottest brand, Victoria’s Secret released its sparkling Holiday Season glam collection. Naturally, most pieces are in passionate red and seductive black, but palette of purple, pink and soft ivory is also present. The Edition features the season’s hottest lace as well as sexy satin, ruffles, gold metallic embroidery and crystallized with Swarovski and softened with ribbons. The styles are various starting from the high waist garters and corsets to the balconet bras and mini v-strings. Love Picks: Swarovski Rings

My favorite Swarovski jewellery are by far their rings. And I already have picked out my new favorites from their new collection. The first is the Forever Ring which is a stunning gold-plated ring with clear crystal all around and decorative cross-over detail with a glittering range of Golden Shadow crystal pave. It is priced at CAD $390. Worthy of a princess, this ring is a divine beauty.

The second one is the well-known classical Nirvana ring but this time it is surrounded by a gorgeous to-die-for Faceted Capri Blue Satin crystal over a silver-plated ring. It is priced at CAD $280.

Sparkling Season: Swarovski “Passages of Night” New Collection

The new sparkling Swarovski collection for Autumn/Winter 2008-2009 has arrived and ready for purchase at their website. This collection offers a fresh and creative feel and lots of variety; anything from funky Elvis pendants to the more elegant Dolce pierced gold-plated earrings and the extravagant Force Tie necklace. It seems that rock-n-roll and frosting stars are a definite inspiration and the color palette of the new crystal designs are fortune purple, capri blue, light amethyst and golden-shadow.

Milan Spring 2009: Giorgio Armani

This collection truly shows why Giorgio Armani is one of the greatest designers ever. Classified by critics as one of his “sexiest seasons in ages,” the spring 2009 collection combined fantasy and elegance into one. The show began with two-button blazers and satin striped pants and ended with glamorous flowing dresses fit for a princess. The colors palette was sensual with soft pinks, whites, nudes and the satin materials only escalated the dreamy appeal. The clothes were sexy but professional and any woman can see herself in each and every one of these beautiful pieces. My favorite? Although, I am lusting after everything, I cannot help but fall in love at first sight with the mermaid-like long dresses at the end which were stunningly romantic. Manolo Blahnik Blue Satin “Sex and the City” Pumps Go On Sale!

Remember the blue satin Manolo Blahniks that brought Carrie and Mr. Big together at the end of the Sex and the City movie? Of course, you do. Who doesn’t? Well, the infamous pumps go on sale today at Bergdorf Goodman. While Carrie said in the movie that the shoes cost $525, the reality is almost twice as high at the price of $945. In the movie, Big proposes to Carrie with these exact blue satin pumps in one of the most memorable scenes. To critics, this particular Manolo style seemed like a letdown but fans disagree as the store Bergdorf Goodman has been besieged with more than 100 requests from customers to buy these love shoes. Mr. Blahnik does not seem too impressed saying, “Oh, good Lord … I think that’s quite obscene.” Nonetheless, our very own favourite shoe designer will be at the store on the sales floor at 3 p.m. to happily sign your shoes.
